What is CBD?
Our founder breaks it down.
In the past couple of years, CBD has gone from being a lesser-known ingredient to a key player due to exciting new research. CBD, short for cannabidiol, is extracted from the hemp plant through its leaves, flowers, and stalks. And no, to answer the question you may be thinking, hemp is NOT the same as marijuana. While they're from the same family, hemp is grown to have a negligible amount or none of the THC (the psychoactive stuff). Studies are showing great promise in CBD's positive effects.
